Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers: The Rematch
Let’s get to this one. We have the Kansas City Chiefs facing the 49ers, which looks like a rematch of the Super Bowl from a few years ago. After the Chiefs won their first Super Bowl with Mahomes, they took out the 49ers the following year, 19-16. They also played back in 2022, right after the 49ers acquired McCaffrey, and San Francisco was a 1 to 1.5-point underdog at home. The Chiefs won that game 44-23.
Why the Chiefs Have the Edge
Looking at Andy Reid, he’s 11-1 as an away underdog and 6-1 over the last three years in non-conference road games. The Chiefs come in with the better defense, and San Francisco has been dealing with a lot of injuries. Plus, the Chiefs are coming off a bye week, fresh and ready to roll. They have one of the best defenses in the league, allowing just 305 yards per game.
