Brooklyn Nets vs Philadelphia 76ers 10/16/24 – Free Total Prediction
Alright, let’s keep this short and sweet:
My Philadelphia 76ers are up against the Brooklyn Nets. Ben Simmons is back for the Nets, and he didn’t do too badly in his first game, putting up some decent numbers. Now, he’s going up against the 76ers, who are pretty much sitting out their key players until the season opener. We knew Embiid wouldn’t be playing due to his knee issues or whatever, but there are still some key players. The only real defensive presence left on the floor is Drummond, who’s a good rim protector and can give you a few buckets.
But then you have Maxey, Oubre, and these guys who are going to score. You’ve also got Reed and, oh, the other guy they signed from the Clippers – shooters, right? So, the defense will be loose.
On the other side, the Nets just dropped 130 points. This team is athletic, long, and they score in bunches. Cam Thomas is leading the way in scoring over there. I see this game going over the total of 216.5. It’s going to be a fast-paced, up-tempo game, even when the third and fourth-string bench players come in. So, my pick for today’s free winner: Take the over 216.5.
