2 NHL Parlay Picks for Today, 10-15-24

This is David with Tony’sPicks.com, here with a two-team NHL parlay for Tuesday, October 15th, 2024. It’s my first NHL parlay video of the season, and I’ve got a pretty big card here on Tuesday, so let’s jump into it.

Game 1: Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Florida Panthers

The first game we’re looking at is the Columbus Blue Jackets hosting the Florida Panthers. Florida has two wins on the season, both against the Boston Bruins. One of those wins came yesterday afternoon with a score of 4-3. They’re on a back-to-back here and won’t have Sergei Bobrovsky. Instead, they’ll most likely have Spencer Knight in net, and I like Columbus’s chances in this spot.

Columbus is sitting right around +140 on the moneyline. They have one loss against Minnesota but a nice win against Colorado. While they’ll probably be a below-average team this season, Florida is coming off a back-to-back. While they got the win in Boston, they didn’t play great—Boston controlled the last 10 minutes of the third period. Florida capitalized on a few Boston mistakes for a couple of goals, but I think we’re in a good spot here. Spencer Knight struggled in his first outing against the Sabres this season, and I think Columbus can get to him. So, I’ll take a shot with the Blue Jackets on the moneyline.

Game 2: Calgary Flames vs. Chicago Blackhawks

For our second game, we’re looking at the Calgary Flames hosting the Chicago Blackhawks. Calgary is off to a 3-0 start this year. They had that crazy comeback against Vancouver in their first game, beat Philadelphia, and then beat the Edmonton Oilers, who are really struggling right now. I like them here on the moneyline, sitting at around -140.

Chicago does have some talent—they’re young—but I think they’ll struggle to score goals this season, and they’re not going to be good on the road, similar to last year. Chicago lost to Utah, lost to Winnipeg, and while they did beat the Oilers, they’re going to have goal-scoring issues. Meanwhile, this Calgary team is hot. I don’t love Calgary’s goaltending situation, but I just think Chicago’s offense is brutal. So, give me the Flames on the moneyline.
