This is David with Tonyspicks.com, here with a two-team college football parlay for Thursday, October 10th, 2024. There are three total games on the college football board today, and I’ve got a winner for you in two of them.
James Madison vs. Coastal Carolina
First off, we’re going to look at James Madison hosting Coastal Carolina. James Madison’s best performance this season came a few games ago against North Carolina. They put up 70 points and beat the Tar Heels by 20 in that one. After that game, they blew out Ball State, I think it was 63 to 7, but then they laid an egg last week against UL Monroe, losing 21 to 19—a game they really should not have lost. However, I think they bounce back here. I’m taking James Madison, minus the 9 and a half. I know Coastal’s 4-1, with their one loss coming against Virginia, but they’ve struggled defensively in the last two weeks against Old Dominion and Virginia. They’ve given up a ton of points and yards. I think James Madison gets right here offensively, and I like them to win by at least 10.
Western Kentucky vs. UTEP
The second game we’re looking at is Western Kentucky taking on UTEP. UTEP comes into this game winless. They’ve been brutal offensively, really struggling to score. I think they’ve scored more than 17 points just once this season against an FBS team, which is just terrible. Western Kentucky is coming off a close loss to Boston College. I know BC was without their starting quarterback, but still, it was a good showing from the Hilltoppers. I think we’re going to see a lower-scoring game here. I like the under 57, which is where the total is at right now. Western Kentucky has been pretty solid defensively this season, without too many poor performances when you take out that Alabama game to start the season. They’re playing this UTEP offense, which, as I said, is one of the lowest scoring in the country. I expect Western Kentucky to get up big in the first half and then coast in the second half, so give me the under 57 there.
