On defense they held Seattle to 239 yards with 175 through the air and 2 of 9 from third down. New Orleans fell to 1-1 after their 16-10 road defeat to San Francisco. Derek Carr saw work and hit 7 of 9 for 47 yards. Jake Haener completed 7 of 13 for 76 yards. Spencer Rattler went 4 of 8 for 27 yards. The Saints finished with 271 yards with 134 rushing for 3.9 yards a carry. On defense the Titans allowed 315 yards to the 49ers with 222 yards passing.
The Pick:
The Titans will play starters for three series. Will Levis gets the start at quarterback. The backup battle is between Mason Rudolph and Malik Willis who has been the rumors of getting cut. Derek Carr and many starters will sit for New Orleans. Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener will split halves at quarterback as they battle for the backup spot. This is the Saints first home game of the preseason and there is battle for their backup spot. Wouldn’t be surprised if Willis gets a long look here to try and build some trade value. Cardinals at Broncos—Arizona is 0-2 in the preseason with their 21-13 road defeat to Indianapolis. Backups played on both sides. Clayton Tune completed 8 of 10 passes for 79 yards. Desmond Ridder hit 6 of 10 for 71 yards. The Cardinals finished with 232 yards with 100 rushing for 3.8 yards a carry. On defense they allowed 356 yards to the Colts with 166 rushing yards for 4.5 yards per carry. Denver is 2-0 after their 27-2 home win to Green Bay. Bo Nix hit 8 of 9 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. Zach Wilson was 2 of 6 for 29 yards and a touchdown. Jarrett Stidham completed 7 of 11 throws for 65 yards. They finished with 263 yards with 109 rushing for four yards a carry. Defensively, the Broncos held the Packers backups to 165 yards with 80 passing yards.
The Pick:
Arizona will sit starters. The backup quarterbacks are Desmon Ridder and Clayton Tune. The Broncos will sit starters as they evaluate Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson for the backup job to Bo Nix. Both Desmond and Tune have starting experience in the NFL. Both teams must cut down from 90 to 53 so each coach will have to evaluate the back half of their roster. Play Arizona +3.

Joe Milton and Jacoby Brissett combined for 5 of 14 for an ineffective 37 yards. The Patriots had 159 yards of offense with 69 rushing for 3.0 yards a carry. On defense New England allowed 283 yards to the Eagles with 210 through the air. Washington is 0-2 in the preseason with their 13-6 road defeat to Miami. Jayden Daniels hit 10 of 12 for 78 yards. Jeff Driskell was 11 of 15 for 82 yards. Trace McSorley hit 11 of 21 for 93 yards and an interception. Washington finished with 340 yards with 111 rushing for 5.0 yards per carry. On defense they allowed 288 yards to the Dolphins with 202 passing.
The Pick:
Jacoby Brissett will start at quarterback and the remaining three quarterbacks will also see action. The Commanders are unlikely to play their starters. With Marcus Mariota and Sam Hartman banged up it could be Jeff Driskel playing the entire game at quarterback. Driskel has seen plenty of playing time in the NFL with 2394 career yards with 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. This is the final game to evaluate the reserves as they cut down from 90 to 53.
