Atlanta extended their winning streak to five games on Thursday night when they overcame the Mets in extra innings at home in a game that started out as a pitchers’ battle but quickly turned into a brawl.

Washington Nationals vs Atlanta Braves. The MLB pick for this game is the Washington Nationals. The five home runs the Braves hit in their victory on Thursday are evidence of their impressive lineup’s power.
Having said that, Atlanta had trouble stopping their opponents from scoring runs at Truist Park this season, which could be a concern here.
Shuster frequently hands out free passes, which can land him in trouble. We witnessed him having difficulty in his first game against Washington this year.
Some of that can be attributed to nervousness, but his control problems remained. Gore performed admirably in each of his career encounters with the Braves.
The Nationals should be able to score several runs, which provides them with a good opportunity in this situation. Expect Washington to win this game by taking advantage of an overworked Atlanta bullpen.
The Washington Nationals will win by a predicted score of 6-5.
