After winning the final two matches of their four-game series in Minnesota over the weekend, the Guardians reclaimed second place in the AL Central Division.

The Guardians have a losing record overall after winning six out of 10 games going into this series.

Tuesday night, Cleveland’s hitters got out to a fast start with back-to-back RBI doubles in the first inning before cooling off until a two-run eighth-inning comeback.

In the eighth inning, Cleveland’s bullpen gave away a 2-1 lead, allowing the Red Sox to score four runs, leading to a 5-4 defeat.

On Wednesday night, the Guardians will pitch to rookie right-hander Tanner Bibee. Bibee made seven starts this season, going 1-1, with three strong outings and a 3.20 ERA.

Bibee has a 3.20 ERA, a 9.2 K/9 rate, and a 1.12 WHIP. Bibee has a 1.1-0 record in four starts at home this year with a 2.74 ERA.
