Four starters and one reliever are included in the injury list of the Texas Rangers for the season.


SPs Spencer Howard (side), Glenn Otto (shoulder), and Jake Odorizzi (arm) are on a 60-day IL while starter Jacob deGrom (elbow) is on a 15-day IL as well, and RP Ricky Vanasco (knee) is out indefinitely for the Rangers.


Catcher Mitch Garver (knee), SS Corey Seager (hamstring), and CF Travis Jankowski (hamstring) are on a 10-day injury list.

The Seattle Mariners enter this series finale looking for their second straight win with a victory over the Texas Rangers to snatch the series win on Wednesday.

The Mariners won three of the last four matches played including a massive 5-0 shutout win over the AL West leader Texas Rangers. On Tuesday, Seattle hit Texas with 9 shutout innings but gave seven hits in the win. 


The Seattle Mariners offense was enhanced by Left Fielder Jarred Kelenic with a batting average of .288 while Right Fielder Teoscar Hernandez contributed seven home runs and Third Baseman Eugenio Suarez added 19 RBIs in leading the Mariners.


First Baseman Ty France chipped in 34 hits and Shortstop J.P. Crawford made a team-high on-base percentage of .378 for Seattle.


On Wednesday, the Seattle Mariners will give the ball to righty Luis Castillo to start the closing match of a series.


The right-handed starter is 2-0 for the year with a stellar 2.38 ERA, a solid 0.91 WHIP, and fanned out 43 batters in 41.2 innings pitched in his starts.  


Five key players are not included in Seattle’s lineup against Texas on Wednesday. Starting Pitcher Robbie Ray (shoulder), RPs Andres Munoz (arm), and Easton McGee (forearm) are on a 15-day injury list.


Shortstops J.P. Crawford (knee) is “?” on Wednesday versus the Rangers and Dylan Moore (oblique) is on a 10-day injured list for the season.
