Detroit Red Wings vs Toronto Maple Leafs. The NHL pick for this game is the Toronto Maple Leafs. With a strong season under their belts, the Maple Leafs want to dominate the Red Wings on both sides of the rink.
With Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, and the rest of the forward line pushing the puck into the offensive zone and generating open shots with superb puck movement, the Maple Leafs, who average 3.41 goals per game, should score at will against the Red Wings, who allow 3.29 goals per game.
With Mark Giordano, T.J. Brodie, and the rest of the defense causing turnovers in the defensive zone and restricting shots on goal, the Maple Leafs, who only permit 2.76 goals per game, should be able to limit the Res Wings’ offense and give goaltender Ilya Samsonov plenty of opportunities to make big saves.
On their rink, the Maple Leafs should triumph and cover the spread in a convincing victory. Toronto will win to a predicted score of 6-3.
