Two of the top three teams in the Metropolitan Division will collide on Thursday night as the New York Rangers invade Prudential Center in Newark against the New Jersey Devils in a division rivalry battle.

The New Jersey Devils are staying on their home ice and looking to rebound from losing the recent road trip when facing the visiting New York Rangers on Thursday.


New Jersey already clinched a playoff berth after posting a 46-20-8 overall record with 100 points and a 20-13-4 record for the season.


However, the Devils suffered a bit in their recent plays losing six of the last eight contests played this season.
