The National Football League Players Association Collegiate Bowl serves as the premier postseason showcase for draft-eligible college football players, offering a week-long experience that provides the participants with the opportunity to display their skills in front of NFL scouts and coaches.

 

There is more to this all-star game as it also offers a chance for players to learn from some of the best in the NFL, preparing them not only for the speed and intensity of professional football but also for the transition into the business and lifestyle changes that come with it.

 

As the countdown to game week begins, the NFL Players Association unveiled the full roster for the 11th annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

 

The all-star showcase will feature the top senior prospects in college football, who will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of NFL scouts and a national television audience at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.

 

The roster has been divided into two teams: the American squad, led by former NFL head coach Jeff Fisher, and the National team, led by former NFL RB and current Tennessee State U head coach Eddie George.

 

The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl offers more than just a game for the participating players, it’s an opportunity for these prospects to learn about the business of football and to prepare for the speed and intensity of professional football, not to mention the lifestyle changes that come with it.

 

The game is set to take place on January 28 and will be televised on NFL Network at 6 p.m. ET.

The assistant coaches for this year’s NFLPA Collegiate Bowl boast a wealth of football experience, from Pro Bowlers and Pro Football Hall of Famers to Super Bowl champions and seasoned gurus, they are ready to guide and mentor these young prospects as they aim to take the next step in their football careers.

 

As the game week approaches for the 11th edition of the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, head coaches Eddie George and Jeff Fisher have announced the esteemed coaching staff that will lead the National and American teams.

 

The all-star showcase, featuring top senior prospects in college football, will take place at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California on January 28th and be televised on NFL Network with kickoff at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

 

The National Team, led by Titans legend and current Tennessee State University head coach Eddie George, will feature Hall of Fame offensive linemen coach Jackie Slater, who is returning for his seventh consecutive year.

 

Joining him are former first-team All-Pro Keith Bulluck as linebackers coach, five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion Andre Rison as WRs coach, and two-time Super Bowl champ Brandon Jacobs as an offensive coaching intern.

 

The American Team, led by former Tennessee Titans and St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher, boasts a star-studded coaching staff of current and former NFL standouts.

 

Special teams coach Josh Cribbs, known as one of the greatest return specialists of all time, returns for another year, as does one-time Pro Bowl wideout Chris Chambers as wide receiver coach.

 

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett, a three-time All-Pro and former league leader in kickoff return yards, will serve as an active player intern.
