Ole Miss at LSU—Ole Miss improved to 7-0 after their 48-34 home win to Auburn. Rebels gained 578 yards in the win with 448 rushing on 69 attempts. On defense they limited the Auburn pass attack but surrendered 301 yards on ground on 48 rushes.
Jaxon Dart a season low 47.4% completions, three touchdowns, one pick and 6.8 yards per attempt. Dart completed 51.7% with 7.3 yards per attempt in a step up game against Kentucky. LSU 5-2 following their 45-35 road win at Florida.
Tigers moved the football for 528 yards with 179 rushing on 38 carries. LSU did allow 199 rushing yards on 34 carries and held Gators passing game in check. Jayden Daniels 71.9% completions in the win, three touchdowns and SEC high 10.9 yards per attempt.
Season wide Daniels 69.4% completions, 10 touchdowns, 1 pick and 7.5 yards per attempt. A run threat who has 90 rushes on 403 yards. Dart accuracy the issue for Ole Miss against the strong teams on the schedule. Daniels has produced better numbers against the tougher competition. Play LSU -1.5.

UCLA at Oregon—UCLA coming off the bye 6-0 after their 42-32 home win to Utah. Bruins moved the football for 502 yards rushing for 203 yards on 38 carries. On defense they did allow the Utes 479 yards with 287 passing on 34 carries. Utah did run for nearly five yards a carry on the Bruins.
Dorian Thompson Robinson did complete 78.3% with a season high 13 yards per attempt. Four touchdown passes, a pick and a rushing TD. On the season the senior QB career highs 74.8% with 9.3 yards per attempt. Oregon hit their bye week 5-1 after their 49-22 win at Arizona.
Ducks gained 580 yards offensively rushing for 306 yards on 41 carries. They did limit the Wildcats run and passing attack. Bo Nix 80% completion rate in the win with 10.6 yards per pass attempt. He rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns. Eight rushing touchdowns past four games.
On the season Nix career highs 70.4% completions with 8.2 yards per attempt. Running quarterbacks have historically given UCLA fits on defense. Offenses rule the day. Play UCLA and Oregon over 69.5.
Purdue vs. Wisconsin College Football Pick Prediction 10/22/2022
Purdue at Wisconsin—Purdue improved to 5-2 after their 43-37 home win to Nebraska. Boilermakers a season high 608 offensive yards with 217 rushing on 47 attempts. On defense Purdue did give up five yards a carry on the ground but 354 passing yardage, on 29 attempts prevented the cover in this one.
Aidan O’Connell 64.8% completions in the win, 391 yards and 7.2 yards per attempt. He did throw for four touchdowns and a pick. On the season O’Connell 66.2% completion rate with 7.2 yards per attempt.
Wisconsin fell to 3-4 following their 34-28 road defeat in overtime at Michigan St. Badgers gained only 283 yards running for 152. Defensively Wisconsin did allow 389 yards to the Spartans. Graham Mertz 56% completions in the loss with 5.2 yards per attempt.
In Big Ten play Mertz 59.3% completions, eight touchdowns, three picks and 7.4 yards per attempt. Badgers have home losses to Illinois and Washington St averaging 12 points a game. Prefer O’Connell over Mertz here. Play Purdue +2.
Memphis vs. Tulane College Football Pick Prediction 10/22/2022
Memphis at Tulane—Memphis fell to 4-3 following their 47-45 road overtime defeat to East Carolina. Tigers moved the football for 491 yards but only 84 rushing on 35 carries. On defense Memphis did allow 473 yards to the Pirates with 304 passing on 35 attempts.
Seth Henigan a season high 73% completions, two interceptions and 11 yards per attempt. Year to date Henigan 65.1% completion rate, 12 touchdowns, 3 picks and 8.2 yards per attempt. Tulane is 6-1 following their 45-31 road win at USF.
Green Wave a season high 564 yards of offense with 235 rushing on 51 carries. They limited the ground attack of the Bulls but gave up 259 yards passing on 23 attempts. Michael Pratt 65.7% completions in the win with 9.4 yards per attempt.
Green Wave past three games have been against AAC teams and on defense they are allowing 252 yards passing with 7 yards per attempt. Henigan in great form now for the Tigers. But Memphis in that three game span allowing 305 yards passing with seven yards per attempt. Play Memphis and Tulane over 56.
