Georgia Bulldogs vs Missouri Tigers 10/1/2022 Picks Predictions Previews

43-The #1 Georgia Bulldogs will play against the Missouri Tigers at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field on Saturday, October 01, 2022, at 7:30 PM ET.

Despite being the top-ranked team in the country, the Georgia Bulldogs didn’t play like it this past weekend. Georgia recently played Kent State at home, when they were given a 45-point advantage but only won by 17.

At halftime, Georgia had a narrow 26-13 lead, and they were never able to pull away to win the game by more than 39 points. That came after they had a cumulative 130-10 advantage over their first three opponents.

Although Stetson Bennett did throw for 272 yards, he also had one interception and no touchdowns during the game, which was played against a MAC defense. He ran for 44 yards and four scores on the year while throwing for 1224 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception.

Brock Bowers, who ran for 77 yards and two touchdowns versus Kent State, was the Bulldogs’ top rusher. Daijun Edwards added 73 yards to the total.

Georgia ranks 50th in rushing and 8th in passing, which is strange considering that their ground game is often their strongest.

  • The Georgia Bulldogs are 4-2 ATS in their previous 6 games.
  • The total went UNDER in 6 of the team’s last 6 matches.
  • The Bulldogs are 6-0 SU in their previous 6 contests.

Georgia Bulldogs vs Missouri Tigers Predictions 10/1/2022

With only 217 total offensive yards versus Auburn, the Missouri defense displayed strong play. As opposed to giving up 32 ppg in their first two games, they only surrendered 17 ppg in their last two contests.

They will find it difficult to win this game because the Bulldogs’ attack is quite strong. Missouri is 68th in points allowed (24.5 ppg), 21st in total yards allowed (24.5 ypg), and 34th in both pass defense and run defense.

This season, the Tigers’ offensive was hit or miss, totaling just 26 points in their two losses compared to 86 points in their two victories.

The Tigers are about to play one of the top defenses in the country, which may be awful news for them. Even though Missouri’s overall offense versus Auburn was only 312 yards, they did manage to gain 133 yards on the ground.

That won’t happen here since the Bulldogs have had a strong run defense in recent years. Missouri is 96th nationally in passing but 43rd in running.

Brady Cook needs to be far better than his 179 passing yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception versus Auburn. In total, he threw for 800 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions.

  • The Missouri Tigers are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 matches.
  • The total went UNDER in 6 of Missouri’s previous 7 games.
  • The Tigers are 2-4 SU in their last 6 meetings.

#1 Georgia Bulldogs vs. Missouri Tigers. The NCAAF pick for this game is the #1 Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia defeated Missouri eight times in a row, with the past three victories coming by an average margin of 33 points.
