Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics NBA Pick Prediction 5/11/2022
Bucks at Celtics—Middleton remains out for Milwaukee. Williams shows up on the injury report but expected to play for Boston. Celtics evened this series at 2-2 with their 116-108 road win at Milwaukee erasing a fourth quarter deficit. They outscored the Bucks 43-28 in the final period. Boston shot 50% from the field along with 14 of 37 from three. Milwaukee a poor shooting game in defeat connecting on 41% along with 9 of 27 from three. Holiday another poor shooting game. Bucks have struggled in the games in Boston averaging 95.9 points per 100 possessions while allowing 103.1 per 100. Defense was good in Boston in this series for Milwaukee. Bucks have responded with wins after each loss in these playoffs. They did take Game 1 in Boston. Late in the series looking for a tight and close result here. Play Milwaukee +5.5.
Golden St Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies NBA Pick Prediction 5/11/2022
Warriors at Grizzlies—Iguodala and Payton out for the Warriors. Aldama and Tillie out for Memphis with Morant questionable. Warriors take the 3-1 series lead after their 101-98 victory at home in Game 4. Grizzlies converted only 42% with 9 of 35 from three. Warriors shot 40% with 9 of 37 from three. Morant’s status is in question due to a knee injury. In Morant’s two long team absences from the team the Grizzlies did respond with better defensive numbers. Morant’s absence in that stretch from last November to late December averaging 113.4 points per 100 possessions while allowing 98.4 per 100. Team also played well in Morant’s absence from Mid-March to early April averaging 117.9 points per 100 possessions while allowing 106 per 100. Don’t expect to see those offensive numbers against the Warriors but the defense will hold up. Ja Morant’s knee injury was serious enough for him to sit out Game 4. That is not a good sign for Morant’s effectiveness should he return to the lineup because knee’s take a while to heal properly. Play Golden St and Memphis under 220.5.
