Julio Urias (1-1, 2.50 ERA) is off to a good start in 2022, with three strong outings since his first start of the year, when he only lasted two innings and surrendered three runs.

Last season, Urias topped Major League Baseball in victories with a 20-3 record. On Tuesday night, though, the Dodgers have their breakout star in Julio Urias.

The 25-year-old Urias always had a tremendous arm (3.07 lifetime ERA), but he didn’t have much of a chance to display his actual ability as a starter because the Dodgers largely used him in the bullpen until 2020.

But, like Rodon, Urias was ultimately able to breakthrough last year. He went 20-3 in that season, racking up eight more victories than he had in his whole career up to that moment. Over 185.2 innings thrown, he had a 2.96 ERA and 1.018 WHIP while striking out 195 hitters.
