Mets at Nationals—Carlos Carrasco to start for New York. The righty struggled with the Mets last year with an ERA of 6.04 and WHIP 1.43 in his 12 starts. His numbers were great in his time with Cleveland. He saw his strikeout rate dip to 21.1% last year. Eric Fedde the starter for Washington. Fedde had a poor 2021 finishing with an ERA of 5.47 and WHIP 1.44.

Anthony DeSclafani to throw for the Giants.
