Canadiens : If this is true about Bonston, should Montreal be the play at major plus-momey? It’s still hard to belkieve thaa the Habs played in the Cup Final last season, as everything fell their way until getting blasted by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Still, if Boston isn’t ready to go, instead of playing Montreal for the entire contest, perhaps the way to go is Montreal !st Period only.
If the Canadiens are serious about their future, they will return Sam Montembeault to the goal.Following four nice games this month, he got blasted by the Arizona Coyotes for four goals on only seven shots before getting lifted..
Except for that hiccop, he’s playing better than Jake Allen while the future of Carey Price (season-long knee injury) is quite uncertain, especially with Price’s salary cap implications.
Former Vegas sraft pick Nick Suzuki — acquired as the key return element in the big Max Pacioretty. deal — will be a future standout, but with little current support, only has 17 goals– which still is No. 1 on the club.
At least Montreal is getting its act togther. Followingt an unsightly 10-game losing streak through mid-February, the Canadiens have gone .9-3-2 (9-5 ATS) with almost every game tending to the Over.
