The St. Bonaventure Bonnies (19-7) travel to take on the VCU Rams (20-7) in the Atlantic 10 Conference at Stuart C. Angel Center in Richmond on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 8:30 PM ET. The VCU Rams have the momentum after winning seven games in a row which improved their overall record to 20-7 on the season. The Rams bested Duquesne, Rhode Island, George Mason, Fordham, Richmond, George Mason (rematch), and just recently the UMass Minutemen at 77-62 on February 26.

 

Virginia Commonwealth University is in 2nd place at 13-3 in the Atlantic 10 Conference with an overall standing at 20-7 and a home record at 10-4 this season.

 

The Rams managed to take a 41-23 halftime lead over the Minutemen and did not look back from there after gaining 36 more points in the final half on the eventual 77-62 triumph over the weekend. Guard KeShawn Curry carried the offense for VCU after scoring 18 points, 4 rebounds, and four steals in triumph.

 

Virginia Commonwealth Forward Vince Williams powered the offense of his team with an average of 12.8 PPG in shooting for 47.3% from the field and 77.8% from the foul line while also grabbing an average of 5.6 rebounds per contest after playing for an average of 31.5 minutes per match.

 

Williams also dished out an average of 3.1 assists per game. The Rams nailed an average of 65.9 PPG on 45.6% FG while their defense gave up an average of 60.9 PPG to their rivals.
