The Cincinnati Bearcats need a win after losing five of their last seven contests played and dropped their overall standing to 17-11 on the season.


The Bearcats won over South Florida in their first meeting this year and Wichita State but surrendered to 14th ranked Houston, Tulsa, Memphis, Temple, and their recent 14-point defeat to the UCF Knights on February 23.


Cincinnati took 7th place at 7-8 in the American Athletic Conference with an overall standing 17-11 and a home record at 12-5 this year. The Bearcats’ offense suffered versus the Knights after scoring just 25 in the first half while allowing UCF to gain 38 points on the way to their 61-75 loss last game.


Guard David DeJulius scored 16 points for Cincinnati while Guard Jeremiah Davenport chipped in a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Bearcats.


Cincinnati marked an average of 70.8 PPG on 41.1% overall shooting, 31.9% shooting from the three-point range, and 67.7% from the foul line while their defense gave up an average scoring of 65.8 PPG on 39.9% FG.


Guard David DeJulius recorded an average of 14.7 PPG with 2.5 assists per outing while Guard Jeremiah Davenport averaged 13.9 PPG and 5.6 rebounds per outing. Guard Mika Adams-Woods dispensed an average of 3.2 assists per game.
