The Friars come into this match-up riding on a five-game winning streak after shutting down St. John’s in their first meeting this year, Georgetown, Butler, Xavier, and the Marquette Golden Eagles at 65-63 on Sunday.

The St. John’s Red Storm travels back home with an 11-8 overall record after losing their recent road tour to Villanova. The Red Storm lost three of their last five matches versus Creighton, Seton Hall, and the Villanova Wildcats at 62-73 on January 29.
