So far this year, Yale did not play very well. They simply are inconsistent, which is never a good indication for a squad. The Bulldogs’ last game was on December 28th, when they were defeated by the Saint Mary’s Gaels, 87-60. Given the disparity between the two squads, that loss comes as a complete shock to me.

When you glance at their schedule, you’ll notice that they played several matches that they should have won, but the results are just not there. They did lose to a very excellent Auburn team, but other than that, they did not compete with any world-beaters. Their offensive was simply not good enough in their last match. When you only earn 60 points in college basketball, it’s difficult to win.

Overall, Harvard performed admirably this season. Although I am aware that they are members of the Ivy League, I like some of the items I saw from them thus far. The Crimson has an 8-5 record heading into this matchup. They, like Yale, haven’t encountered any formidable opponents, but they took care of business better than their opponents.

On Friday, these lads were defeated 84-73 by the Brown Bears. When they meet the Bulldogs on Sunday, they’ll have another chance to play a conference opponent. With 18 points and 8 rebounds in their last match, Noah Kirkwood was the team’s leading scorer.

Chris Ledlumcontributed 17 points and 8 rebounds to the mix. Even though the Bears had several strong offensive efforts, it was not enough to defeat them.

I just think the Crimson will be too much for the Bulldogs to manage in this situation. I also like that they are performing at home. For me, two points aren’t too much to bet on Harvard. I’m not suggesting they’ll annihilate their opponents, but I believe they’ll be able to cover this number. Here, I’ll take Harvard laying the two points. The Harvard Crimson will win to a predicted score of 75-71.
