Idaho St at Air Force—The Air Force Falcons have moved back to the Princeton offense in Joe Scott’s second year back with the school. He ran that system in his first stint at the school. UC Irvine at Santa Clara—A true home game for the Broncos in this spot. Santa Clara returned three starters from last year but were able to lure quality transfers into the program. The is an efficient offensive team that hits 41.9% from three and defends as well as scores well around the bucket. Utah returns only one starter back from last season. There are only two players from last year’s rotation returning for the Utes. Utah is not a strong three point shooting team and has struggled with turning over the ball. This is the biggest challenge for the Utes. BYU does return their top scorer from last year in Alex Barcello. Two quality transfers joined the Cougars this year. Even though three starters have exited the Cougars do return plenty from the rotation. BYU has notable six point win to San Diego ST and 32 point win against Oregon in Portland. BYU has defended the three point shot best in the nation and great defending inside. They do well scoring on the inside and strong rebounding team.
