Loyola Chicago is shooting 41.5% from three and doing a good job scoring and defending inside. Arizona St has struggled to shoot the basketball converting 42.1% along with 33.3% from three. Duke vs. Gonzaga—Gonzaga is amped up playing at a high level. It was an impressive 20 point win against an experienced UCLA team as they shot 56% and 39% from three. USC vs. San Diego St—USC returns two starters from last season. But six of their eight rotation players return from last year. Plus, the Trojans restocked with transfers and a freshman class. This is a team that is experienced and with depth. That is important in this back to back game as the Trojans do go to their bench with heavy minutes. On the court they are shooting 49.5% with 35.9% from three. Defensively they are holding teams to 34.8% along with 25.8% from three point range. They are strong scoring and defending inside plus they take good care of the basketball. San Diego St not a good shooting team converting 41.9% along with 28.2% from three point range. They do have a six point loss at BYU couldn’t separate enough to cover in wins to Arizona St by two and UT Arlington by six. Play USC +3.
