Middle Tennessee St at FAU—Both teams enter at 5-6 and one win away from bowl eligibility. Blue Raiders are 1-5 on the road this year with the only win coming at down UCONN. Aggies have lost two of their three road games in the SEC with the lone win coming at a poor defensive team in Missouri 35-14. Quarterback Zach Calzada on the road is completing only 53.2% of his throws for 5.2 yards per pass attempt. Aggies have struggled to convert third downs on the road at 31.8%. West Virginia vs. Kansas Pick Prediction 11/27/2021
West Virginia at Kansas—Mountaineers sit at 5-6 and one win away from bowl eligibility. Another down season for Kansas as the team sits at 2-9 entering play. West Virginia is 3-5 in conference. The offense has sputtered at times. They are led by senior quarterback Jarret Doege who saw his interception move up six more than last season. The run game has been no help as the team averages only 3.4 yards per carry running about half of the time. Cardinals have struggled in their step up ACC games with losses to Clemson, NC State, Virginia and Wake Forest. The losses to Clemson and Virginia came at home. Kentucky has flashed offense on Tennessee and LSU. Wildcats quarterback Will Levis is averaging 9 yards per pass attempt and completing 65.8% of his throws. Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham coming off good performances against Duke and Syracuse. Against defensive minded teams in NC State and Boston College he struggled with accuracy. Wolf Pack quarterback Carson Strong is completing 69.5% of his passes against the Mountain West with 7.4 yards per pass attempt. Strong has thrown for over 300 yards in seven straight games. Offensively the Rams have been held to 21 points and fewer in three of their past four games. Rams quarterback Todd Centeio has throws six interceptions in his past three games. Play Nevada -4.
California vs. UCLA Pick Prediction 11/27/2021
California at UCLA—UCLA bowl eligible at 7-4. California must win this week and next week against USC to become bowl eligible. Third straight road game for Golden Bears. After 10-3 loss at Arizona the Golden Bears hit the bye then pounded a bad Stanford team on the road by 30 the following week. The offense generated only 122 yards on the Wildcats defense but Cal starting quarterback Chase Garbers was injured. UCLA has played well past two games with 44 points and 502 yards on Colorado and 63 points and 609 yards on USC. Garbers in his past two games averaged 9.5 yards per pass attempt on Stanford and 101. Yards per pass attempt on Oregon St. Bruins defense trending poorly against the run past three PAC 12 games. Play UCLA and California over 57.5.
BYU vs. USC Pick Prediction 11/27/2021
BYU at USC—BYU is bowl eligible with a record of 9-2. USC must win here and next week against California to become bowl eligible as the team enters play at 4-6. BYU carries a four game win streak after a 34-17 win at Georgia Southern. Back to back road trips in this spot for the Cougars. USC has lost four of five. Defense was torched for 609 yards in their 62-33 home defeat to UCLA. This travel spot could make the Cougars defense a bit vulnerable here. The did give up 49 points and 588 yards to Virginia three weeks ago. Past three games Trojans are moving the football for 448 yards with 286 passing. Play USC and BYU over 64.
