Quinnipiac Bobcats vs Maryland Terrapins Predictions 11/9/2021

On the side of the Maryland Terrapins, the team finished the previous season with a 17-14 record under the supervision of head coach Mark Turgeon in his 10th year.

Furthermore, the team participated in the Big Ten, defeating the UConn Huskies in the first round, but lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide.  The defeat eliminated the Terrapins from the tournament with a 9-11 record.

In this game, seniors Eric Ayala, Xavier Green, Fatts Russell, and Simon Wright make their last hurrah before exiting the team.

Before they go, this match will acquaint the departing players with new ones, and show them the ropes as well.  The roster of new figures includes Ike Cornish, James Graham III, Brett Karkus, and Julian Reese.

Guard Fatts Russell was acquired by Maryland last year, who is Rhodes Island’s all-time leader in steals, along with F Qudus Wahab, the shot blocker and leading rebounder at Georgetown, which was crowned as the Big East champion last season.

Moreover, Eric Ayala was the top scorer in the previous season with 15.1 points per contest.  The 6-foot-five guard has been a constant character in the lineup for four consecutive years and is on the watch list for a Jerry West Award.
