The No.18 – ranked North Carolina State Wolfpack and the Miami (FL) Hurricanes are preparing to clash in NCAA football action at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida this Saturday. 


The North Carolina State Wolfpack are coming in with an improved record of 5-1 following a win over the Boston College Eagles in their last outing by a final score of 33-7.  Of the six games, the Eagles were only defeated once by the Mississippi State Bulldogs, and are currently riding on a four-game winning streak.

The Miami (FL) Hurricanes, on the other hand, further dropped their record to 2-4 after suffering their second straight loss in the hands of the North Carolina Tar Heels at 45-42.  The team is currently ranked sixth in the ACC – Coastal.  


Leading the way for the Hurricanes is quarterback Tyler Van Dyke in place of D’eriq King who sustained an injury and is unable to participate in the remaining games.  Van Dyke threw for 767 yards, including 81 completions of 122 attempts, three touchdowns, and four interceptions.

The defensive end is led by safety Bubba Bolden, who delivered the most tackles with 41, safety Amari Carter with a single interception, and linemen Chantz Williams and Jahfari Harvey with 2.5 sacks each.
