LB Caliph Brice controlled the backfield for the Owls with 4 solos and 2 assisted tackles in the win.

The Air Force Falcons snapped their two successive wins after losing their recent tour versus Utah State on September 18. Air Force dropped to last place in the Mountain West Conference Mountain Division with a 0-1 conference and 2-1 overall standing after losing one home contest this season. The Falcons beat Lafayette in the opener at 35-14 and Navy at 23-3 in week 3 of NCAAF action but lost their recent outing to Utah State at 45-49. In their recent loss, the Falcons dominated the running game for 437 rushing yards but had difficulty in their passing for 182 yards for a total of 619 offensive yards on 8.3 yards per play. Air Force posted 23 first downs, 62% 3rd down, and 50% 4th down efficiency on 75 total plays in the loss.

 

Starting QB Haaziq Daniels connected 6 of his 12 pass attempts for 182 yards and scored 1 touchdown but intercepted once while rushing for 95 yards on 13 carries and landed 1 touchdown. On ground offense, RB Emmanuel Michel led the running game with 11 carries for 133 yards and scored 2 touchdowns while WR Micah Davis grabbed four passes for 110 yards and nailed 1 touchdown in leading the receiving squad. On defense, OLB Vince Sanford contained 8 solos and one tackle in augmenting the backfield.
