Team want’s better production from Jordan Love and Kurt Benkert as they head into the regular season. 21 points scored in two preseason games, so the Packers need better offensive showing here. Ravens at Washington—NFL free pick is Baltimore Ravens -3.5. Won’t get in front of the Ravens in the preseason. They have won 19 straight preseason games covering 18 of those games. Tyler Huntley saw all the snaps last week in their 20-3 win against Carolina. Trace McSorley is dealing with a sore back and looking to be ready by Week 1. Ravens have played good defense in the preseason holding opponents to 277 yards per game with 3.6 per rush. Washington quarterbacks averaging 5.7 yards per pass attempt. Bears at Titans—Free pick is Chicago Bears -3. Tennessee has been hit with COVID including starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Titans offense averaging only 255 yards per game. They will utilize backups Logan Woodside and Matt Barkley. Tannehill hasn’t taken a snap in preseason. Bears have named Andy Dalton as Week 1 starter. Buccaneers at Texans—NFL pick is Houston Texans +4. There is talk that Tom Brady will see some action in their preseason finale along with starters. Issue is when the starters sit. Buccaneers have not looked good in preseason where they are averaging 192 yards per game and only 1.4 yards per rush along with 4.1 per pass attempt. Bucs backup quarterbacks Blaine Gabbert, Kyle Trask and Ryan Griffin have led Tampa Bay to 17 points in two preseason games. Brady has thrown two passes in preseason. Texans have won both preseason games averaging 23 points per game. With question marks being Watson the Texans need production out of Tyrod Taylor, Jeff Driskel and Davis Mills to be ready for Week 1 with a starting quarterback. Jameis Winston named as the starter so no quarterback battle here. Looks like the Taysom Hill, Ian Book and Trevor Siemian show here. Colt McCoy has NFL starting experience as the Arizona backup and Chris Streveler a former CFL quarterback can extend drives with his legs. They are only allowing 15 points per game in the preseason and dropped a one point decision to the Raiders who try and win the preseason.
