However, the match ended as a 1-1 draw and Argentina won the penalty shoot-out by 3-2, thanks to an amazing performance by their goalkeeper. Copa America Argentina vs Brazil Predictions 7/10/2021

Brazil are coming off a slim 1-0 win over Peru in the other semi-final, but they were clearly favored by the referees in a Thiago Silva hand-ball that should have been a penalty kick for Peru. Even so, Brazil are through to the final having won 5 of their 6 matches in the competition, scoring 2 or more goals on 3 occasions and keeping 4 clean sheets. They have been quite impressive in the last year, as they also did a great job in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, winning all 6 matches and keeping 5 clean sheets in the process.

Argentina vs Brazil. The two teams last met in the 2019 Copa America semi-finals, where Brazil won by 2-0 with goals from Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino. It was a very physical match too, with 7 yellow cards shown for both teams. Brazil are clearly favoured in this tournament and I wouldn’t be surprised if the referees were going their way once again. Taking my chances with the Over 2 Goals in what is expected to be a very interesting final.
