However, Poland were really good in the EURO Qualifiers, as they topped Group G with 8 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw, scoring 18 goals and conceding just 5 in the process. But, to be honest, it wasn’t a very tough group with Austria, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Israel and Latvia.

Slovakia did a great job in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, remaining undefeated in their first three matches. However, their first two matches were a blank draw against Cyprus and a 2-2 draw at home against Malta, before beating Russia by 2-1 at home. Prior to that, Slovakia finished at the bottom of their UEFA Nations League group with a 1-4-1 record, in a group that also featured the Czech Republic, Scotland and Israel. Slovakia did not get a ticket through the EURO Qualifiers, as they finished at the 3rd spot of their group. They did, however, have a second chance through the Nations League, where they beat Ireland and Northern Ireland and got a wild card.
