The Italians will base their defense on Juventus duo of Chiellini and Bonucci, while their midfield will be anchored by PSG’s Verratti and Chelsea’s Jorginho. The Italian attack will be spear-headed by Lazio’s Immobile and Torino’s Bellotti.

Coach Roberto Mancini is using a 4-3-3 formation, utilizing his roster in the best possible manner to create a very agile starting eleven. They have two excellent forwards in Immobile and Bellotti but there is room for only one of them in the starting line-up. Coach Mancini will deploy Chiesa and Insigne at the flanks and will probably alternate between Immobile and Bellotti at the offense.

Coach Mancini has transitioned from the “catenaccio”, the very defensive style of play, to something more offensive. They still play really good in the defense (and have kept clean sheets in each of their last 5 competitive matches), but their offense is much more potent nowadays.
