California at UCLA—College football pick is California Golden Bears -2.5. Tough to back UCLA based on their poor defensive showing at Colorado last week. Bruins surrendered 48 points and 522 yards to the Buffaloes team breaking in a first year starting quarterback. They surrendered 264 rushing yards. This was a Bruins team sitting near the bottom of college football in points and yards allowed as season ago. Golden Bears were able to beat UCLA last year in their meeting 28-18 behind a balanced offense attack and six quarterback sacks on defense. Cal is an experienced team returning ten starters on offense and eight to the defense from an 8-5 team. Justin Wilcox now in his fourth season has turned around this program. Team had success when quarterback Chase Garbers was ability to finish his starts winning all seven games. Defensively Cal held opponents to 22 points and 3.6 yards per rush attempt.
