LAC defense has kept the team in all of their games this year with by three to KC and five to Carolina. Impressed by the Chargers 23-20 overtime loss to KC limiting the Chiefs to 20 points in four quarterbacks. Tom Brady is not a mobile quarterback and facing a Chargers team that pressure his throws. Chicago defense allowed only two touchdown passes which is best in the league. They do a good job of getting off the field as average drive against is two minutes and sixteen seconds best in the NFL. Huge step up in class for the Colts after facing the Jaguars, Vikings and Jets. This could be the game where Indy misses Marlon Mack. Rivers has the tendency to rush his throws which leads to turnovers and here he faced the toughest defense to date this season. Making things worse is the Colts are running for only 3.8 yards per attempt. Bears doing a good job of running the football at 4.9 yards per rush. Cardinals at Panthers—NFL pick is Arizona Cardinals -4. Panthers return home after beating a Chargers offense with a rookie quarterback. But this spot is the Cardinals to respond after their first loss and an off game by Kyler Murray. Two strong weapons in the passing game for Murray in DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald. Panthers are a defense struggling tackle as they give up the most yardage after contact. That is a huge concern especially with Kyler Murray who has the ability to run with the football. Cardinals seven rated defense in the league and best in the NFL on third down plus second best in the red zone. Carolina without their best weapon in Christian McCaffrey in the backfield. They only posted 302 yards on the Chargers defense last week and on defense surrendered 312 passing yards. Panthers offense 30th in the red zone and the defense 31st on third down. Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Cincinnati Bengals Pick Prediction 10/4/2020

But this is a step down in class for Houston that opened with a brutal schedule dropping games to the Chiefs, Ravens and Steelers. Prefer DeShaun Watson passing against this young and rebuilt Vikings defense that is allowing 34 points per game which is 31st in the NFL. In their only road game of the season the team was beaten soundly 28-11 at the Colts. Minnesota has three turnovers in each of their past two games.
