Cyclones registered 37 points and now the Horned Frogs face a stronger offensivel team and quarterback under Sam Ehlinger. Longhorns senior quarterback is completing 71.2% of his throws with ten touchdowns and one pick. Offensively Horned Frogs did not run effectively posting just a 2.3 yards per carry average. Signaling issues on the TCU offensive line the team surrendered seven sacks and Horned Frogs took ten penalties. Play Texas -13.
NC State vs. Pittsburgh Pick Prediction 10/3/2020

East Carolina vs. Georgia St—Free pick is East Carolina Pirates -1. A step down in class for the Pirates as they travel to play Georgia St after their loss to UCF. This will be the second game of the year for East Carolina who finished with 244 rushing yards and 4.5 yards per run attempt on the UCF defense. This is an experienced offensive team for the Pirates returning eight starters including junior quarterback Holton Ahlers. In the second half the Pirates kick started their offense for 21 points. South Carolina vs. Florida Pick Prediction 10/3/2020
South Carolina vs. Florida—College football pick is South Carolina Gamecocks +18.5. Gamecocks did show improvement offensively with the addition of offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. Transfer Collin Hill, a senior in his first game with South Carolina hit on 25 of 39 passes for 290 yards and a touchdown. Florida did have a good offensive showing against Ole Miss, but the concern was the 35 points and 613 yards they allowed. Rebels posted 13.3 yards per pass attempt. With that play defensively can’t late these many points with Gators. Play South Carolina +18.5.

Baylor vs. West Virginia—College football free pick is Baylor Bears -3. Bears offense looked good in their 47-14 win at home to Kansas to open the season. Run game was effective with 203 yards and 4.7 yards per rush. Bears defense held the Jayhawks to only 4.8 yards per pass attempt. West Virginia fell at Oklahoma St 27-13. They struggled with the ground game averaging only 1.6 yards per carry on 42 attempts. Mountaineers fell to an Oklahoma St team utilizing a backup quarterback. TCU transfer quarterback Shawn Robinson did complete 19 of 25 throws for 185 yards and a touchdown facing the Alabama defense. On defense the Tigers limited the Crimson Tide to 3.1 yards per carry on 36 rushing attempts. Tennessee held for a four point win at South Carolina. Vols did allow Gamecocks quarterback Collin Hill to throw for 280 yards on 25 of 39 completions. Tigers do have experience in their front seven this season. Rather take points here. Arkansas St vs. Coastal Carolina—College football pick is Coastal Carolina Chanticleers +3.5. Arkansas St was forced to postpone last week’s game with Tulsa with positive COVID tests and several players showing symptoms. This could leave the Red Wolves shorthanded in key positions. Coastal Carolina is off to a 2-0 start. They are getting production from a ground game that averages 189 yards per game with 4.8 per carry. Texas Tech at Kansas St—Free pick is Texas Tech Red Raiders +3.5. Kansas St opened the season with a loss to Arkansas St then beat Oklahoma last week. Letdown could be in order for the Wildcats this week facing a strong offense from Texas Tech. Red Raiders did blow a late lead to Texas last week but did show well offensively. Quarterback Alan Bowman is throwing for 377 yards per game with the run game producing 4.6 per attempt. SaRoderick Thompson has been strong ball carrier for the Red Raiders averaging 5.8 yards per attempt. Kansas St beat a Sooners team that wore out defensively and went flat offensively in the second half like they did much of last season. Wildcats are an inexperienced offensive team that this point of their development may not be able to put back to back high scoring outputs. North Carolina at Boston College–College football pick is North Carolina Tar Heels -11. North Carolina comes off a bye week after their 31-6 road win at Syracuse. UNC is an experienced football team returning ten starters on offense and seven to the defense. Quarterback Sam Howell coming off a great performance hitting on 25 of 34 for 295 yards. Run game produced 160 yards for 4.6 per attempt. Defensively Tar Heels limited the Orange on the ground to 1.9 yards per attempt on 35 rushes. Huge step up in class for Boston College after wins to rebuilding Duke and pulling out a three point win to Texas St. Eagles offense producing only 25 point per game facing lower tier ACC team and team from Sun Belt. BC an inexperienced offensive team breaking in a first year starting quarterback and losing 1731 yard rushing from 2019 in AJ Dillon to the NFL. They are only averaging 2.5 yards per carry on the ground on 34.5 rushing attempts per game. Play North Carolina -11.

Texas A&M vs. Alabama—College football free pick is Texas A&M Aggies +17. Won’t take too much from the result of the Aggies home win to Vanderbilt as they were looking ahead to Alabama. Aggies senior quarterback Kellen Mond has put up good numbers at his time with the school facing an SEC schedule. He has his two top runners and leading receiver back from a year ago. USF at Cincinnati—Free pick is Cincinnati Bearcats -21.5. Bearcats a physical team was able to pull away from a good Army team winning 24-10. Bearcats have been sharp defensively holding teams to only 314 yards and 15 points per game. Junior quarterback Desmond Ridder can keep defenses off balance as he is a threat to run as the second leading rusher for the team last season. Bearcats bring back nine starters from last season to their defense. USF did not handle a physical team well in their 52-0 loss at Notre Dame. Offensively the Bulls generate only 317 yards 13.5 points per game. This is a four win team from last year that had trouble scoring. This is a revenge game for the Bearcats as well.
