Bengals at Browns—NFL pick is Cincinnati Bengals +6. Bengals showed competitiveness in their game against the Chargers. Joe Burrow will improve following his first performance missing on throws. Bengals defense limited the receptions for Chargers quarterback Tyrod Taylor who completed only 16 of 30. Cincinnati will lean on Joe Mixon on this short week. Cleveland faced a physical hard hitting team in Baltimore and was smashed 31-6 and won’t have a lot of time to recover. Browns offense lost three turnovers and converted only 3 of 12 on third down. Bills at Dolphins—NFL free pick is Miami Dolphins +5.5. Respect the Miami defense who held the Patriots to 140 yards passing in their road defeat and only 21 points. There will be improvement from the Dolphins side offensively as they battle a Bills defense dealing with the Miami heat and humidity in a 1PM Eastern Time start in September. This is not an easy spot for teams coming in from the north. Second half is where the Dolphins find their most success offensively with Buffalo struggling with the elements. Play Miami +5.5.

Lions at Packers—Free pick is Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers to play over the total of 47.5 points. Impressive debut for Green Bay as they go into NFC Central rival Minnesota and came away with a 43-34 victory behind 522 yards of offense. Aaron Rogers was accurate passing for 364 yards and four touchdowns. He faces a Lions defense that has struggled in recent seasons defending the pass and just gave up 27 points in a loss to Mitchel Trubisky’s Chicago Bears. Must respect the Lions offense behind Matthew Stafford passing for 297 yards on the Bears defense. They did run for 4.8 yards per attempt getting production from Adrian Peterson. Offense comes from both sides here. Play Packers and Lions over 47.5 points.
