Free NFL Picks For Today 9/8/2020
Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs Pick Prediction 9/10/2020
Texans at Chiefs—NFL pick is Houston Texans +9. Houston retooled their receiving corps picking up Brandin Cooks, Randall Cobb and Will Fuller. Teams now have to adjust to this group and what aids the Texans is they return all five to their offensive line to protect DeShaun Watson. There isn’t a whole lot of changes for KC so what the Texans saw on tape in the offseason they can create a game plan to help them get closer to the Chiefs on the scoreboard. Houston will be well prepared here and no fans takes some home field advantage away from the KC side. Behind quarterback DeShaun Watson, his line and new receiving corps the Texans generate enough offense to cover this huge number. They have covered three of their past four at KC including last year in the regular season. Play Houston +9.
Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings Pick Prediction 9/13/2020
Packers vs. Vikings—NFL free pick is Minnesota Vikings -2.5. Losing both regular season games to the Packers isn’t going to sit well with Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer. He gets them to open the season once again. 49ers exposed the Packers defense in their NFC Championship victory by running the football. There is some concern for the health of the Packers right side of the line. This is a spot where running back Davin Cook can shine which will open up play action passes to Adam Thielen and rookie Justin Jefferson. Tight end position is strong. Zimmer is great at coaching up a defense and he will get improvement from their corps. His teams rush the passer effectively. He was just extended contractually three more years along with his general manager. Play Vikings -2.5.
Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions Pick Prediction 9/13/2020
Bears at Lions—Free pick is Chicago Bears +3. Best unit on the field is the Chicago Bears defense. Team was tops in the NFC in scoring defense last year. They improved the defense by signing pass rusher Robert Quinn. That puts quarterback Mitch Trubisky in the role of a game manager. Pressure is on now that Nick Foles was picked up in the offseason. Foles is also good coming off the bench should he be called upon. Four starters return on the offensive line for Chicago. Lions come off a 3-12-1 season. Lions were 31st, second last in total defense and last in defending the pass. The roster was heavily turnover and with no preseason difficult to evaluate game readiness. Bears return 19 of their 22 starters from last year. Play Bears +3.
