The Texas Rangers are set to take on the Colorado Rockies this Tuesday evening at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Colorado is coming out of their unsatisfactory performance the previous season with a 71-91 record. This resulted in their elimination from the playoffs for the first time in three years, and placed them at fourth place in the National League West. The Rockies did not do good last season either. Recording a 78-84 record season overall left them in third place in American League West, and out of the postseason three years straight.

This 2020 season the Rockies will be building momentum behind Trevor Story and Nolan Arendo. Both are expected to make at least 15 homers each this season. Charlie Blackmon is also eyed to make his impact after recording 32 homers and 112 runs last year. Blackmon will be expected to make his return on opening day after being diagnosed positive with Coronavirus. Another player to keep an eye on is Garett Hampson, for his decent stats in batting and steals.

Colorado will be starting RHP Ashton Goudeau this Tuesday. Though not making any Major League stats, Texas will be depending a lot on Goudeau. Ranking at 26 overall, hopefully he will be able to play his role well in this season.

Players such as Todd Frazier and Rougned odor will also create an impact with their batting percentages, and on-base average. This will help Texas secure their runs this 2020 season.
