Friday February 14th—World vs. USA—NBA Rising Stars Game
This game features NBA rookies and sophomores from USA versus the rest of the world. Ten players on each side. Notables on Team USA are Ja Morant, Kendrick Nunn, Zion Williamson and Trae Young. On the World Roster the notables are Luca Doncic. RJ Barret of the New York Knicks has returned to action following an injury. Prefer the depth of the USA roster in this spot. DeAndre Ayton for the World Team is out injured. Both Doncic and Barret just returned from injuries. Play Team USA -4.5
Saturday February 15th—Skills Challenge—A group of 9 NBA players showcase their ball handling skills on the court. Notables include Khris Middleton +300, Patrick Beverly (2015 winner) if healthy +700, Pascal Siakam +500, Jayson Tatum +550 (2019 winner), Spencer Dinwiddie (2018 winner) +250.
The Pick—- Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder at +450 odds. Gilgeous Alexander a first round pick in 2018 out of Kentucky is averaging 19.5 points per game in 19.5 minutes of play.
3 Point Shooting Contest—Notables include Joe Harris (+475), Trae Young (+500), Devin Booker (+500), Buddy Hield (+700) and Zach LaVine (+1000).
The Pick—Buddy Hield (+700). Hied is shooting 38.7% from three point range and has attempted the most three point shots of this ground of players at 525. There is some reports of tensions between Hield and Walker and that the talented shooter may request a trade. Would be a good spot to showcase himself to a contender than to post a winning result here. Buddy Hield has ben hot of late from three.

The Pick: Derrick Jones Jr +180. Fifth season in the league and has dazzled NBA arenas with his leaping and dunking skills. He was a second place finisher in this event in 2017.
Sunday February 16th—Team LeBron vs. Team Giannis—Team Giannis is favored by -4.5 points. A twist this season is each team is trying to win each quarter and the winning side for each of the first three quarters will receive money towards their charity of choice. After three quarters the team with the highest cumulative score will have 24 points added to their score as the target score for each team to reach to be declared winner of the game. The final quarter is untimed.
The Pick—Play Team LeBron at +4.5. An All Star Team with LeBron, Anthony Davis and Kawhi Leonard getting points is hard to turn down. Plus add a three point shooter like James Harden and a healthy second year player in Luca Doncic.
MVP—Trae Young +2500 odds. Believe Young will be the standout in his game from Team Giannis and a close win puts him in the MVP running.
