Titans at Patriots—NFL free pick is Tennessee Titans +5. Patriots a team that usually peaks down the stretch has not done that this season. They have failed to cover four of their past five games after a 27-24 home defeat to Miami which cost the Patriots a bye in the first round. Head coach Bill Belichick set the tone early last week reporting that New England was going to treat the Dolphins game as a playoff game. The defense which has looked good early in the season really performed at their worst in Week 17 allowing a season high 389 yards and 327 passing yards. New England defense looked very slow in their defeat to Miami. Patriots offense finished in the lower half of the league on third down and red zone. Tennessee saw improvement offensively when quarterback Ryan Tannehill took over for an ineffective Marcus Mariota. Tannehill completed 70.3% of his passes with 22 touchdowns and 6 picks. New England has lacked playmakers this season. His completion rate was 60.8% and only 6.6 yards per pass attempt. Titans should be confident in this spot as they blew out New England at home last season 34-10 running for 150 yards. This season Titans did a good job on the ground with 5 yards per rush average to compliment Tannehill who has been accurate this season. Play Tennessee +5.

Vikings have been good in the red zone ranking second in the league.
