Sophomore quarterback Bryce Carpenter is an upgrade at quarterback as he is completing 70% of his passes against the Sun Belt with four touchdowns and no picks. Coastal Carolina has done a good job of stopping the run on the season at 4.3 yards per rush. Rajin Cajuns in recent games have a ten point home loss to Appalachian St and winning by three at Georgia Southern. Play Coastal Carolina +14.
Temple vs. USF Pick Prediction 11/7/2019
Temple at USF—College football free pick is Temple Owls -1. Temple defense is good at stopping the run holding opponents to 3.5 yards per carry on the road. USF is a team that heavily relies on production from their ground attack. Must respect recent wins by the Owls to Memphis and East Carolina. They come off losses to SMU and UCF but South Florida does not have the passing attacks of those two teams. South Florida has been dealing with injuries at the quarterback position. Starter Blake Barnett is out for the season. Backup Jordan McCloud may play the second stringer. Western Kentucky at Arkansas—Free pick is Arkansas Razorbacks -1. Razorbacks have struggled in SEC play and now turn to their youth. Starting at quarterback will be freshman John Stephen Jones. The signal caller has completed 62.5% of his throws with two touchdowns and no picks. In the non-conference the team does have a 55-34 win to Colorado St. Western Kentucky enters play on a two game losing streak. UMASS at Army—College football pick is UMASS +35. Army is 3-6 and not as strong as previous seasons. Their offense is only averaging 339 yards and 24.7 points per game. Black Knights have failed to cover five of their past six games. Army is a run team but unlike Navy and Air Force this Black Knights team has no downfield threat with their passing game. So, they lack a big play passing attack so that means a lot of runs and clock moving which will limit possessions. UMASS can move the football as in their past three games posting 342 yards and 25.7 points per game. Line looks inflated in this spot as Army is not as strong as Navy and Air Force this season.
