Navy vs. UCONN Pick Prediction 11/1/2019
Navy at UCONN—College football pick is Navy -27.5. UCONN has struggled to defend the running teams they have faced. USF got past the Huskies 48-22 behind 313 yards on the ground on 42 carries with 7.5 yards per rush. Tulane gathered 311 rushing yards on UCONN on 46 carries for 6.8 yards per run in a 49-7 win by the Green Wave. UCF a passing team but did run for 230 yards and 6.2 per attempt in a 56.21 win. Navy a triple option team averages 59 rushes per game for 351 yards and 5.9 yards per attempt. This is an improved Midshipmen team this season at 6-1 and bowl eligible. Senior quarterback Malcolm Perry leads Navy in rushing with 934 yards and 14 touchdowns. He can also strike downfield with the pass when needed with 11.9 yards per attempt. UCONN had their struggles scoring against AAC conference teams in Houston and Tulane. They could only generate three points at Indiana in a 35 point loss on the road. The high volume of rush attempts will wear down the Huskies so look for big plays in the second half from the Midshipmen to add to their lead. Play Navy -27.5.

Team is completing only 55.7% of their passes. They turn to a redshirt freshman quarterback in Devin Leary in this road spot. He is completing only 48% of his passes. NC State 0-3 straight up and against the spread on the road. They generate only 21 points and allow 40 points 448 yards on the highway. Demon Deacons are coming off the bye week.
