Longhorns have covered six of their past seven against the Sooners. Oklahoma has put up good numbers. But their opponents thus far, Houston, South Dakota, a down UCLA and Texas Tech program plus Kansas. Longhorns the more tested team. Play Texas +10.

Alabama vs. Texas A&M—Free pick is Alabama -17.5. The Crimson Tide won last years meeting 45-23 at home. Don’t believe Nick Saban was happy with his defense prior to entering his bye week. They blew out Ole Miss at home posting 59 points. But the Crimson Tide allowed 31 points to the Rebels. Texas A&M in their two high profile games dropped a fourteen point decision at Clemson and by 8 at home to Auburn. Texas A&M did not look good pulling out a 31-27 win on a neutral field to a bad Arkansas team. Alabama is putting up 555 yards per game with 174 rushing for 5.3 yards per carry. With Tua leading the passing attack the team is completing 75.3% of their throws. Aggies didn’t match the physical style play of Auburn in their home loss. Now facing a physical hard hitting team in Alabama they find a quarterback much accurate then Auburn’s freshman Bo Nix. Play Alabama -17.5.

Penn St vs. Iowa—College football pick is Iowa +3.5. This is a spot where Iowa thrives. At home in prime time we have seen this program step up with huge efforts. Must be impressed with the Hawkeyes defense holding the Wolverines to only ten points. Penn St steps up in class facing the best defense they have seen. In their highest profile game, the Nittany Lions got past Pittsburgh only by seven at home. Nebraska at Minnesota—College football pick is Minnesota Golden Gophers -7. Minnesota offense has looked sharp this season. Quarterback Tanner Morgan is completing 70.3% of his passes with thirteen touchdowns and three picks. Golden Gophers sit at 5-0 this season after their 40-17 home win to Illinois. South Carolina vs. Georgia—College football pick is Georgia Bulldogs 24.5. Georgia coming off a 43-14 win at Tennessee last week. Bulldogs have not allowed more than 17 point to any one opponent this season. Team is allowing only 278 yards per game with 2.3 yards per rush. Must worry about Gamecocks freshman quarterback Ryan Hilinski in down and distance in this road spot against a ferocious defense.
