Cowboys at Saints—NFL pick Dallas Cowboys -2.5. Cowboys despite facing poor defenses has been able to move the football for 481 yards per game with 5.5 per rush. Dak Prescott has been accurate under center as the Cowboys produce 302 yards passing with 74.5% completion rate. Must be concerned about a New Orleans defense that surrenders 436 yards with 301 passing. Teams are rushing for 5.1 yards a carry against New Orleans and Dallas has a good running back in Ezekiel Elliot. Saints facing a good defense will be without starting quarterback Drew Brees. Teddy Bridgewater gets the start. Last week Bridgewater was 19 of 27 for 177 yards and two touchdowns. But now Bridgewater is on tape for the Cowboys to game plan against. In his time with the Vikings, Bridgewater was a dink and dunk passer who struggled with accuracy downfield. Saints offense produced 19 points as they were aided to victory by a defensive and special teams touchdown. Cowboys offense best on third down and defense second best. Dallas offense with their balanced attack has converted 9 of 11 inside the red zone. New Orleans defense bottom third in the league on third down and red zone. Play Dallas -2.5.
