Michigan vs. Wisconsin—College football pick is Wisconsin Badgers -3. Both teams haven’t played strong competition. But best win from these two teams was the Badgers 49-0 win in the heat of humidity at South Florida to start the season. Badgers have not allowed a point to their opponents this season as they have allowed 116 yards per game. Wisconsin has covered their past five at home to Michigan. Wolverines run game is generating only 3.8 yards per attempt in games to Middle Tennessee St and Army at home this season. Wolverines needed overtime to beat Army 24-21 and have been sloppy protecting the football five fumbles lost in two games. Each team coming off byes. Would rather lay the points with Wisconsin who has shown some spark offensively. Play Wisconsin +-3.
Oklahoma St vs. Texas Pick Prediction 9/21/2019
Oklahoma St at Texas—College football free pick is Texas Longhorns -6.5. Must respect this Texas offense. They did put up 38 points on a very talented and experienced LSU team to start the season. They are moving the football for 497 yards with 349 in the passing game with 73% completion rate. Oklahoma St lost their starting quarterback and running back from last season. Also, only five return on defense. Cowboys have not played a tough schedule facing Tulsa and McNeese St this season yet still surrendering 387 yards per game. Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger is above Cowboys signal caller Spencer Sanders, a redshirt freshman making his first road Big 12 start. Play Texas -6.5.

Notre Dame vs. Georgia—Free pick is Notre Dame Fighting Irish +13.5. Notre Dame picked up a road win to start the season at Louisville 31-17. This is an improved Cardinals team under the first year head coach from Appalachian St. Fighting Irish facing a look ahead spot crushed a bad New Mexico team 66-14. Notre Dame has experience at quarterback in Ian Book. This Fighting Irish defense has played well the past two seasons and the start of this season. Respect Georgia but the level of competition has not been very difficult yet. Bulldogs don’t see this level of quarterback play much on their schedule. This game can land 10 or 11 and you win no matter who wins. Play Notre Dame +13.5
SMU vs. TCU Pick Prediction 9/21/2019
SMU vs. TCU—College football pick is SMU Mustangs +10. Mustangs have been good to bettors covering all three times this season and I have been on each time. Sonny Dykes enters his second season with SMU and has experience on defense and Texas transfer Shane Buechele at quarterback. Mustangs are moving the football for 555 yards per game with 300 in the passing game and a 66.7% completion rate. Defense has held their own limiting teams to 24.7 points per game. TCU opened with a weak FCS team then last week won at Purdue who had a freshman backup at quarterback who couldn’t complete half of his passes and threw two picks. Concerned about the quality of play of the Horned Frogs quarterback. They have been rotating Duggan and Dalton and last week they combined for 7 of 24 completions. Mustangs can stack the line and be competitive in this game by generating enough points on offense to cover. Play SMU +10.
Auburn vs. Texas A&M Pick Prediction 9/21/2019
Auburn vs. Texas A&M—College football free pick Texas A&M Aggies -3.5. Prefer the experience of Kellen Mond at quarterback for the Aggies. They are throwing the football for 292 yards per game and have defended well limiting opponents to 268 yards per game. Aggies have defended the run well. That exposes Tigers freshman quarterback Bo Nix who is completing only 52% of his passes. From what I took from their win to Oregon in the opener is that the Auburn Tigers are going to struggle against the good teams in the SEC. Aggies defended Clemson to only 24 points per game on the road, must respect that. Aggies are home here facing a step down in quarterback class from Trevor Lawrence. This is a less experienced team in Auburn from last year replacing starters at quarterback and wide receiver. Aggies did move the football for 423 yards on the Auburn defense last year on the road of a 28-24 defeat. Play Texas A&M -3.5.
LSU vs. Vanderbilt Pick Prediction 9/21/2019
LSU at Vanderbilt—Free pick is LSU Tigers -22. Tough to back Vanderbilt in this game. They have not looked good losing 30-6 at home to Georgia and 42-24 at Purdue. This is a Commodores defense giving up 512 yards per game with 332 passing and 65% completion rate. Under transfer Riley Neal out of Ball St, a four win team from a year ago, the Commodores are completing only 58.8% of their passes. LSU’s offense has been strong posting 552 yards with 436 passing and an 81% completion rate by quarterback Joe Burrow. Tigers defense holding teams to 2.4 yards per carry on the ground. The quarterback play at Vanderbilt is a huge step down in class from what they saw at Texas. Play LSU -22.

Oregon at Stanford—College football pick is Oregon Ducks -8. Tough to back this Stanford team. They are not an experience team returning only four starters on offense and five to the defense. Cardinal has struggled defending passing games of USC and UCF in back to back weeks allowing 45 points in each Ducks. Oregon has been good over the years covering against losing teams in their home stadium with six straight covers. This is an experienced Ducks offense returning ten starters on offense including their quarterback in Justin Herbert and all five to the offensive line. After their loss to Auburn they have pounded Nevada and Montana at home. Cardinal passing defense surrendering 280 yards per game with 69% completion rate. Ducks offense attack is averaging 319 through the air and 75% completion from senior quarterback Justin Herbert. Play Oregon -8.
Houston vs. Tulane Pick Prediction 9/19/2019
Houston at Tulane—College football free pick Tulane Green Wave -3. Tulane is an experienced defensive team and has shown well holding opponents to 276 yards per game. Green Wave is 2-1 on the season with the lone loss at Auburn but still Tulane put on a good defensive showing allowing 24 points. They have shown good movement of the football rushing for 256 yards per game with 5.9 yards per attempt. Houston sits at 1-2 coming off a home loss to Washington St. Team continues to show issues defensively this year allowing 497 yards per game with 157 rushing for 5.3 yards per attempt. Houston is inexperienced on defense having four starters back. In the passing game the Cougars offense is generating only 146 yards per game and a 551% completion rate. Tulane has improved under Willie Fritz as head coach. Play Tulane Green Wave -3.
Tennessee vs. Florida Pick Prediction 9/21/2019
Tennessee at Florida—Free pick is Florida Gators -14. Gators lost Felipe Franks for the season. Enter Kyle Trask who engineered a wild comeback in a 29-21 road win. Trask has a pocket presence with a strong arm. He completed 9 of 13 for 126 yards in the win. The junior signal caller saw limited work last season. This is a very good Gators defense holding opponents to 303 yards per game and are at home in this spot. Volunteers have had struggled this year with home losses to Georgia St giving up 38 points and a loss at home in overtime to BYU. Volunteers are inexperienced on the defensive line. Concern is for the Volunteers defense who will have trouble stopping the Gators offense on the road. Play Florida -14.
Washington vs. BYU Pick Prediction 9/21/2019
Washington at BYU—College football pick is Washington Huskies -6.5. Washington rebounded after that loss to California with a blowout 52-20 win at home to Hawaii. BYU has been involved in back to back overtimes wins at Tennessee and home to USC. Trojans helped the Cougars with that game with three interceptions thrown by a freshman quarterback who telegraphed his passes. Cougars faced a PAC 12 team of this quality were pounded at home to Utah. Huskies a good defensive team holding opponents to 324 yards per game. Cougars have struggled defending the run allowing 225 yards per game for 4.8 yards per rush. BYU run game has not been good which will put them in down and distance against a Huskies defense under Chris Peterson that has given up 18 points per game or fewer in four straight seasons. Looks like letdown spot for BYU here. Play Washington -6.5.
California vs. Ole Miss Pick Prediction 9/21/2019
California at Ole Miss—College football free pick is California -1. Golden Bears are a very good physical defensive team. They are holding teams to just 313 yards and 16.3 points per game. They upset Washington on the road two weeks ago then faced a North Texas team at home with a good quarterback in Mason Fine and held the Mean Green to 17 points in their win. Ole Miss opened with a loss at Memphis then beat up on a bad Arkansas team and an FCS school in Southeast Louisiana where they allowed 29 points. Ole Miss defense is allowing 260 yards passing per game with 66% completion rate. Rebels utilizing a freshman quarterback this season and is inexperienced on offense with three starters back. Play California -1.

Michigan St at Northwestern—Free pick is Northwestern and Michigan St to play under the total of 38.5. Northwestern has not been impressive offensively this season. They were held to seven points in their opener at a down Stanford team. They lost their starting quarterback in defeat. Now they look to sophomore quarterback Hunter Johnson in the Big Ten opener against a good defensive team in Michigan St. Spartans are holding opponents to 216 yards per game. Wildcats have shown well defensively this year. Spartans generated only seven points at home to Arizona St with a freshman quarterback and with many first time starting playmakers. Looks like a defensive grinder. Play Northwestern and Michigan St under 38.5.

UCLA at Washington St—College football pick is Washington St Cougars -17.5. Washington St returns home pulling out a win at Houston behind a strong second half. This is an offense generating 567 yards per game with 476 passing with 78% completion rate. Cougars have played defense well the past few seasons. This UCLA team lacks talent on the field. Team loses again 48-14 at home to Oklahoma. Bruins have been held to 14 points in each defeat this season. Bruins averaging only 263 yards per game with a miniscule 2.2 yards per rush average and 54% completion rate. UCLA pass defense has been poor allowing 279 yards and 71% completion rate. Washington St is the top passing team in college football. Senior quarterback Anthony Gordon should be able to exploit this UCLA defense. Cougars have covered four of five against the Bruins. UCLA has lost 15 of 16 on the road. Play Washington St -17.5.
Utah vs. USC Pick Prediction 9/20/2019
Utah at USC—College football free pick is Utah Utes -3.5. Utah has the look of the best team in the PAC 12 South this season. A 3-0 start with a quality senior quarterback in Tyler Huntley and experienced playmakers. They beat USC at home last year 41-28. In the opener the Utes traveled to in-state rival BYU and came away with the 30-12 win. Ute defense is holding opponents to 239 yards per game. USC does not defend as well. They come off a bad 30-27 overtime defeat at BYU. Issue with the Trojans is their freshman quarterback Kedon Slovis was telegraphing passes that led to three interception. Believe USC is heading in the right direction but Kedon Clovis needs seasoning. Third down was an issue with 6 of 17 conversions on an average BYU team with no conference to play in. Now they play an elite PAC 12 team. Play Utah -3.5.
