Betting Preview: It was an 8-8 record for the Minnesota Vikings in 2016 as the club failed to make the playoffs for the third time in four seasons. For the third straight season the offense sputtered as they gained 315 yards and scored 20 per contest. Sam Bradford is the starter for Minnesota as he took the reign’s from an injured Teddy Bridgewater. Also in camp are Case Keenum and Taylor Heinicke. Minnesota allowed Adrian Peterson to exit the team in free agency. With their first pick in the draft the Vikings selected running back Dalvin Cook from Florida St. Also competing at the position are Latavius Murray and Bishop Sankey. Under head coach Mike Zimmer the Vikings have been solid defensively. Last year they held opponents to 19 points and 315 yards per game. With their second pick in the draft the Vikings selected center Pat Elflein from Ohio St. Selected in mid-rounds were wide outs Rodney Adams from USF and Stacy Coley from Miami.
Head coach Sean McDermott makes his debut with the Bills. He inherits a team that finished 7-9 and a defense the digressed under the Rex Ryan tenure. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor remains under center. Also in camp are T.J. Yates and Nathan Peterman. Buffalo was a good running team under Ryan and in the backfield are LeSean McCoy Taiwan Jones and Jonathan Williams. Brandon Tate, Sammy Watkins and Anquan Boldin are the wide outs. Their second pick in the draft was wide receiver Isaiah Jones from East Carolina. Defensively the Bills allowed 357 yards with 24 points per game. Their first pick in the draft was cornerback Tre’Davius White from LSU.
