Oklahoma St finished 7-6 overall in 2014 and 4-5 against the Big 12 conference. Head coach Mike Gundy will feel the heat in 2015 after his performance last year. Gundy did have a challenge heading into the 2014 by losing 14 starters from 2013.
The offense worsened last year as the club could only average 27 points per game. Quarterback play lacked consistency so Gundy may look at his sophomore Mason Rudolph. The Cowboys will have experience this year with plenty of playmakers from the passing game back. They must replace their two best running backs from 2014. Defensively in 2014 the unit allowed ten more points per game than the 2013 team.
Central Michigan capped off 2014 with a record of 7-4 and 5-3 in the MAC. It is very difficult for the Chippewas to earn a trip to the MAC championship game when Northern Illinoi is in your division. They happened to beat the Huskies on the road a season ago. A new coach enters the program and he has just ten starters back from 2014. Junior Cooper Rush returns as the starting quarterback. They were the top defense in the MAC last year.
