It’s a 1 1/16th of a mile journey on the Del Mar turf course for straight maidens three year olds and upward racing for a purse of $52,000

The 5th at Del Mar is scheduled for a 7PM Eastern Time post and you can watch it on TVG.

Our play is taking #5 Big Cozz to win.

Big Cozz will have the services of Vic Espinoza in the saddle and is trained by Richard Mandella.

This is a lightly raced four year old colt who will be making his third career start. He is coming off a fifth place finish just 2 lengths behind in a 1 1/16th mile race on turf against similar foes at Del Mar on August 1st.

He will be making his second race off the extended layoff as Big Cozz last time out was coming off over a 1 year layoff and was competitive in his first race back.

Like his works leading up to this race as he produced a bullet on August 24th.
