The Best Pal will be contested at 6 ½ furlongs on the Del Mar synthetic surface and its for two year olds.

It is scheduled as the 8th race on the Del Mar card today with a post time of 8:30PM Eastern Time and you can watch it on TVG.

Sway Away is ridden by Rafael Bejerano and is trained by Jeff Bonde.

This two year old is by Afleet Alex and figures to improve in his second career start. He opened his racing career by taking an open Maiden race up north at Pleasanton and he posted a very good 83 Beyer for that 5 furlong race.

Bejarano rides him and is off the #2 Comma to the Top in this one.

The breeding looks good as he is out of a Seattle Slew mare.

He has been working very good for this one and is coming off a solid work at Del Mar on August 4th.
